Healing Acne Methods That Plain Don’t Work

September 20th, 2009 kyle No comments

Here’s an interesting factoid about Acne Pimples they are the number one disease in the entire world! Given this, it’s surprising to see how much bad information there is about healing acne and acne treatments. On top of bad info regarding healing acne fast, there are the plethora of acne home remedies that have no scientific backing or proof, but continue to be passed on from individual to individual. It bugs me that some of these common ways of healing acne marks miss the mark and actually make things worse. Here are some common acne treatments that plain don’t work in healing acne.

1. Some people think that cleaners and chemicals found around the house can treat acne. However, by putting these chemicals on your face and skin, you will destroy the tissue and pH of the skin and thus, do little to Clear Acne.

2.Dish liquid does not an Acne Solutions you should try, yet people still do it.

3.Home facial saunas do little in treating acne and in fact can cause redness and blemishes.

4.Any sort of tape stuck on the skin and torn off may remove oil or dead skin cells form the fact but like many of these acne remedies, they aggravate the sensitive skin and can cause more acne breakouts.

5.It has been long believed that the sun helps prevent acne as well as act as a natural Acne Treatment. This is simply not true. The added tan may make acne pimples from looking more noticeable but it won’t stop you from continuing to get whiteheads or blackheads. Also, if you are taking certain acne treatment prescriptions from a dermatologist, it may make you more sensitive to the sun.

6.Taking any type of vitamin in a high dose is not one of the Natural Acne cures I would recommend. Plainly put, it’s not healthy and it hasn’t been shown to get rid of acne.

7.Popping whiteheads, blackheads or pimples is universally not recommended especially for face acne. Doing so spreads acne bacteria across your face and can also lead to acne scars or pimple marks.

There are many other ‘acne solutions that simply don’t work that I couldn’t list. Bottom line is if it isn’t natural or didn’t from the ground or a plant, then don’t put in on your face or eat it. This is probably not what a dermatologist would tell you but can you really trust strange chemicals in acne products or a doctor 100% of the time?
